About the Attorney

Premier plaintiff’s attorney Pat Hughes has a tradition of success. He has considerable experience and has handled thousands of cases throughout Alabama. He has successfully represented clients in car accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death, workers’ compensation, and Social Security Disability cases. Mr. Hughes proudly keeps up to date with the most recent legal and technological advances in representing his clients.

Pat Hughes earned an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating (SM) for his legal capabilities and devotion to professional ethics. His civic activities include previously serving on the board of directors for United Cerebral Palsy and Calhoun County Cancer Society and as an officer for the Calhoun County Bar Association.

Mr. Hughes is an avid golfer with wins in the Sunny King Golf Tournament and other golf tournaments. He loves gardening and the arts and enjoys spending time with his wife, Sally, and their animals. Pat Hughes founded the University of Alabama baseball camp in Anniston, soliciting donations that allowed many underprivileged boys to attend the camp. During the 1990s, Mr. Hughes began coaching high school boys’ basketball while still maintaining his law practice. He led several of his teams to the area championship and earned the title of County Coach of the Year three times.
